Wow, it sure doesn't seem like it has been 50 years. So looking forward to this 50 year extravaganza. Thanks a bunch to Karen and all the others that worked so long and hard to make this the best reunion ever.  Glad to see that so many classmates are attending.  "We're cheering for you Miami High, Rah Rah Rah!"

I have been very derelict in helping Karen, Richard, Roy, Donna, Cathy ( yes Cathy Holt), and all the rest in putting this reunion together.  I'm sure they will find plenty for me to do later.  Read the memorials today, and can't tell you how fortunate I feel to be able to attend this event and see everyone again.  I know we don't look the same, but our hearts are still with old MHS.  See all of you soon!

Being a part of this wonderful group has reminded us of so many memories and although we not all remember them the same way, we look forward to having New memories to share when we all get old! I've said the biggest plus will be nametags with Senior Pictures so we won't have to guess who is who! Times change; lives happen both good and not so good, but that's part of living. This should be The Biggest 50th Reunion in the history of MHS, just as our graduating Class of '65 was the Biggest! There will be something planned to fit everyone's lifestyles choices. I'm looking forward to reconnecting.

It's been an exciting 2-1/2 years of planning for the "Big One". There has been (and still is) a surprising number of volunteers working to assure the reunion is successful. The group is not exclusive; your participation is welcome! Planning meeting times and locations are posted in advance on the website. For me, personally, the opportunity to reconnect and rekindle friendships has been so very rewarding. Judging from the interest expressed so far, I am confident we will have a large turnout. Mark your calendars, September 24-27, 2015.....looking forward to seeing everyone.

With all my name changes and moves from state to state and in and out of the US over the past 50 YEARS (!!), I doubt many will remember me with my current name.  I began MHS as Cathy Vann, then married in my junior year, so became Cathy Woods.  Life happened (and divorces), so after NEO I moved to the East Coast where I lived until six years ago when I relocated to Indianapolis to be closer to my sibs.  I have four sons who each live in or near Miami:  Dirk Woods and Darren Woods (Miami), David Woods (Joplin), and Dustin Woods (Branson).  I'm looking forward to the 50th reunion and seeing friends ld and newer.  Also, I want to thank Karen and the others on the organizing committee who've worked so hard to make it a success!   Cheers!  Cate Russo aka Cathy Woods

I appreciate so much those who have been organizing all this so we can celebrate 50 years post-MHS; I LOVE the picture of the old high school building, too.  Seems like the older I get, the more I appreciate good memories & friends.  I look forward to seeing many of you in 2015....which, given the past 50 years, will be here before we know it!

This is so exciting, to be alive and in touch with so many of my classmates.  I never  dreamed after those air raid practices in grade school and my dad putting in a bomb shelter that we'd live long enough to celebrate 50 years past high school.  So far so good, and life for all of us has certainly had it's challenges.  Can't wait to see so many of you in 2015.
